How do you make an improvement in your local park? It's a long and difficult process, which becomes even trickier if you're not already familiar with the inner workings of City Government. As part of CUP's Making Policy Public Series, I worked with designer Elana Schlenker, illustrator Leslie Wood, New Yorkers for Parks, and Partnership for Parks to demystify this process so that all New Yorkers, regardless of their background, can advocate for their needs.
